Design and Development of Hydro-Optical Communication-Based Invasive Wireless Sensor Networks

    Get PDF
The selection and implementation of a hydro-optical communication connection for real-time position tracking of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) in underwater settings are the main topics of this research article. For a variety of applications, including pipeline maintenance, environmental research, and undersea infrastructure inspection, effective monitoring and control of ROVs is essential. Due to signal attenuation and interference, conventional communication techniques are difficult to use in aquatic environments. To get over these restrictions, hydro-optical communication, which sends light messages through water, presents a viable option. The paper examines current hydro-optical communication methods and technology, pointing out their benefits and drawbacks. It deals with the technical needs of setting up a trustworthy communication channel for monitoring the real-time location of ROVs. To ensure accurate and timely data delivery, an appropriate communication protocol is created. The research also demonstrates the smooth operation of hydro-optical communication with the ROV's navigation system. The suggested method is put into practise and tested in safe underwater environments in order to assess how well it works at pinpointing the position of ROVs. Among the performance indicators evaluated are data rate, communication range, and energy efficiency. The results of this study help to advance the area of underwater communication and make it easier to monitor and manage ROVs in real-time for a variety of underwater applications

Downtime Cost of Equipment Used In a Construction Industry

    Get PDF
The purpose of this paper is to present a sample of how Construction companies deal with equipment downtime cost, and further how they analyze its reduction. The study was performed by conducting a web-based survey within construction firms that have at least 200 employees. The main results obtained from the investigation show that the estimated downtime cost constitutes about 23.9 % from the total manufacturing cost ratio, and 13.3 % from planned production time. Additionally, the hourly cost of downtime, whether planned or unplanned, is relatively high. Finally, the lack of fully integrated models for assessing the downtime costs and frameworks for distinguishing the difference between planned and unplanned stoppages are the main reasons behind the continuation of cost in ascending form. Due to that, the improvements will emphasize on areas with less cost saving opportunities. As a result, this will affect the production efficiency and effectiveness which in return has its influence on costs and thereby profits margin

Construction Project of Residential Building in 3-Tier City

    Get PDF
In this project, we are going to study how the construction works are carried out, executed in the 3-tier city and what kind of problems are faced in the construction process. As a saturation has taken place in the constructions in important cities of India, a number of II-tier and III-tiercities have been found to give a successful growth in the construction field. As the real-estate sector of our country is moving higher, a several state capitals and smaller cities that have the relatively better infrastructure and are able to support higher growth in the economy are already into the limelight. These II-Tier and III-Tier cities are characterized by low costs in real estates, land availability for development, untouched manpower and increasing quality of life

Result Paper: (TMS320 F 28027)Microcontroller Based PWM Signal Generation for Speed Control of DC Motor

    Get PDF
Inany modern factory all types of electromechanical devices are used such as AC motors, DC motors, power amplifiers. Therefore there is serious need of intelligent devices capable of driving and controlling a wide range of electrical and electromechanical devices. For controlling the speed of DC motor series architecture of variable resistors is not good because it drops excess of energy and flux and armature control methods cannot provide speed control in the desirable range. Therefore DC motor is controlled by Voltage control method in which PWM signal is used to control electromechanical devices and this PWM signal is generated from analog, digital IC and microcontroller. PWM signal obtained from analog or digital IC contains harmonics, therefore mostly PWM signals are generated from (TMS 320 F 28027) Microcontroller. It reduces the hardware complexity and it consumes less power. PWM signal generated using modifying CCP register of microcontroller. DC motor is interfaced with TMS microcontroller through H-bridge driver L-293D. H-bridge control the motion of DC motor. PWM signal is generated at four duty cycles for increasing or decreasing the speed of motor

Recognition and Evaluation of Heart Arrhythmias via a General Sparse Neural Network

    Get PDF
In clinical use, an electrocardiogram (ECG) is an essential medical tool for assessing heart arrhythmias. Thousands of human beings worldwide are affected by different cardiac problems nowadays. As a consequence, studying the features of the ECG pattern is critical for detecting a wide range of cardiac diseases. The ECG is a test which assesses the intensity of the electrical impulses in the circulatory system. In the present investigation, detection and examination of arrhythmias in the heart on the  system using GSNNs (General sparsed neural network classifier) can be carried out[1]. In this paper, the methodologies of support vector regression(SVR), neural mode decomposition(NMD), Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Support Vector Machine(SVM) and are examined. To assess the suggested structure, three distinct ECG waveform situations are chosen from the MIT-BIH arrhythmia collection. The main objective of this assignment is to create a simple, accurate, and simply adaptable approach for classifying the three distinct heart diseases chosen. The wavelet transform Db4 is used in the present paper to obtain several features from an ECG signal. The suggested setup was created using the MATLAB programme. The algorithms suggested are 98% accurate for forecasting cardiac arrhythmias, which is greater than prior techniques

Issues in Routing Mechanism for Packets Forwarding: A Survey

    Get PDF
Nowadays internet has become more popular to each and every one. It is very sensitive to nodes or links failure due to many known or unknown issues in the network connectivity. Routing is the important concept in wired and wireless network for packet transmission. During the packet transmission many times some of the problems occur, due to this packets are being lost or nodes not able to transmit the packets to the specific destination. This paper discusses various issues and approaches related to the routing mechanism. In this paper, we present a review and comparison of different routing algorithms and protocols proposed recently in order to address various issues. The main purpose of this study is to address issues for packet forwarding like network control management, load balancing, congestion control, convergence time and instability. We also focus on the impact of these issues on packet forwarding

Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19: A review and a debate based on available clinical trials/case studies

    Get PDF
Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as a drug grabbed serious attention of whole world in dealing with COVID-19 pandemic. Recently some in-vitro and in-vivo study showing possible inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 by use of HCQ. However at the same time, some case studies showing NO clinical benefit/ poor clinical outcome with substantial detrimental adverse effects by use of HCQ in treatment of coronavirus disease-2019. Thus, the HCQ use (in COVID-19 treatment) is of current international interest, although a consensus has not yet been reached. More evidences are still required to prove efficacy of HCQ against COVID-19. In view of this, the present review highlights the current ongoing research related to use of HCQ in treatment coronavirus disease-2019. The present review will discuss the possible anti-viral mechanism of HCQ, prophylaxis strategy and effect of HCQ against SARS-CoV-2 virus in-vitro study. Further this review also summarizes and debates all available clinical trials/ case studies of HCQ use against COVID-19 (with clinical outcome). Finally possible detrimental adverse effects are also discussed considering the public health and pharmacovigilance concern. Keywords: Potency of hydroxychloroquine; COVID-19; Coronavirus disease-2019; Clinical trials; SARS-CoV-2; Adverse effects of hydroxychloroquine; Pharmacovigilance concer
